Now how funny would that be if the whole JW organization was shut down over something as simple as putting their Watchtower trash in someone's mailbox? I am sure that they will deny the whole incident (it never happened, you know) but it would sure be funny! And I am quite sure that in one of their upcoming "studies," it will no doubt be a new topic for the speaker to address at their next brainwashing session. "Fools, do not put our literature in people's mailboxes. It is illegal and they are talking about it on the internet!" :) Be Blessed!

Re: Tract left at my door 06-Nov-08 19:18
by Melody Blankenship inin response to bumble bee from the above listed post wherein she stated that a jw tract was left in her mailbox......i think that is against the law (pretty sure it is here in the usa) and you might have a lawsuit against the wtbts.
i do believe that anything that is left in your mailbox is supposed to have the proper postage attached.
just my thoughts but you might want to "ask a lawyer.

Defence of watchtower society Links
by reniaa ini thought long and hard before making this thread, that many will not agree with it but i think there needs to be balance and people to realise there are alternate viewpoints out there on many of these subjects, the ones that are most spoke about on this forum.
i was recently sent a full message containing mary's book and these links give the rebuttal to many of her points.
those that are still open-minded enough feel free to look over them even if in the end you still don't agree at least you have heard both the defence as well as the attack as they are on the internet.

Sorry about that, but that wasn't the only word that I noticed that was spelled incorrectly. I always think I am reading something written by a ten year old if a person can't spell. That's just one of my pet peeves, and please forgive me for that. I suppose there are some intelligent people who just can't spell but I will not be reading anything they write. Peace and love!

Dr. Phil's show on Mind Control
by Melody Blankenship ini think we need to flood the dr. phil message board with comments about mind control cults and urge him to do more shows concerning this topic.
he is just at the tip of the iceberg, and the jehovah's witnesses are for sure one of the largest mind control cults that needs to be investigated.
go to drphil.com and sign up and sound off on the message board.

If enough people show that there is a Huge Problem with the Jehovah's Witnesses, old Dr. Phil himself might go pay the fellows up in Bethel a visit! That might shake them up, ya' think?

Local Radio DJ says Jehovah's Witnesses are worst religion in the world ...
by troubled mind inif you are a person that loves getting presents !!!!!!!
hahaaha

Melody Blankenship
Well, I'll have to agree with the local DJ about the JW's being the worst religion in the world, and I can't believe how many people still do not know about the evil and greedy cult and their beliefs! Granted, I probably would be just like most of them had my dad not got sucked into the cult a few months after my mom passed away. And as far as the gifts.....for if no other reason than to piss my dad's JW wife off, I still to this day buy him presents for various occasions (especially birthdays and Christmas,) wrap them in the appropriate wrapping paper and all, and take them to him, and he loves it! Please pray for him as he is 78 years old and has Alzheimer's (or is just majorly brainwashed, would be more like it!)

Nov 5 Dr. Phil - Cult Mind Control - WATCH TONIGHT!
by still_in74 inwednesday - november 5, 2008mind control?its hard to believe, but in america alone, there may be as many as 5,000 religious groups preying upon the weak and vulnerable, and all in the name of god.
dr. phils guests have warnings for you and your children.
seeta says when her 18-year-old daughter joined a religious group called 1 mind ministries, she left home with her 7-month-old son and never returned.

In response to Reniaa.....the JW that my dad is married to has used and continues to use all of the tactics you described: sleep deprivation, food restriction, and drug coersion (and that is just the beginning of the list) to gain "total control" over his feeble mind, but when he signs a check out of our family trusts, it's "his decision!" What a crock of BS! They are a very evil and greedy cult and need to be exposed!

Melody Blankenship
Well, heck..this explains why they are trying to get into our family trust funds as hard as they are. They need to leave my poor old dad w/Alzheimer's alone and go after the Williams sisters....tell them to kick a few million their way. haha!!!

Name change for the Jehovah's Witnesses
by Melody Blankenship inin a vision, jehovah told me to ask the jehovah's witnesses if they would consider changing their name to "witnesses for the governing body of the wtbts," and i just told him that i would pass the message along.
i hope they will take this name change into consideration.
be blessed!

Phoenix, AZ What do you think?
by White Dove ini visited phoenix when i was a kid and fell in love with the hot desert and big city.. i haven't been back since, so i'd like your take on phoenix now.. i've given up on houston, tx cuz it doesn't sound as nice as the desert..

Melody Blankenship
I think it gets hotter than heck there. I have a niece who lives out there and has called home crying.....said people weren't supposed to live in a place that gets that hot. Just thought I'd give you my opinion. It really is kind of pretty though, but I have just visited.....did not have to live there.

ANY JW's or ex-JW's from Western Oklahoma or TX panhandle on here?
by Melody Blankenship inif so, have you heard about the goings on at the elk city, ok congregation of jw's?
they have been draining the funds out of our family trusts (my dad remarried into this cult four months after my mom passed away and he now has alzheimer's.
) anyway, we are currently in a court battle in beckham county, ok to have my dad removed as trustee of the trusts (look it up on odcr or oklahoma district court records or on demand court records)....steve powell vs. bobby g powell.

Thanks and whereabouts in Southern OK? We go all over the state (we sponsor our grandson who is an awesome little wrestler) taking him to different tournaments just about every weekend. We've probably been to your neck of the woods if there's a wrestling tournament there! Have a great evening!!
